The tourism business in West Virginia uses more than 44,000 people and the business has been creating by an ordinary of 5.4% over the span of late years. The advancement of the business requires a pool of arranged specialists. This framework is planned for- 

1. Individuals who have an occupation in the tourism business without having completed a Bachelors degree. 

2. Individuals who have a job in the tourism business yet have completed a Bachelor's degree in a field that did not set them up for managerial or supervisory positions in the business. 

Courses: The underwriting ventures requires the completing of five courses: 

  • RTM 105 Introduction to Tourism Management (open Spring, summer and Fall semesters) 
  • RTM 309 Hospitality Management (open Fall semesters) 
  • RTM 315 Service Industry Management (open Fall semesters) 
  • RTM 328 Maintenance and Design of Recreation Facilities (open Spring semesters) 
  • RTM 415 Meeting, Convention and Special Event Planning (open Spring semesters).
