The School of Music and Dance's five-unit building complex joins the 540-seat Beall Concert Hall, acclaimed for its splendid acoustics; separate band, choir, and gathering hone rooms with support workplaces; rehearse rooms; a little presentation hallway; studio working environments, classrooms, and workshop rooms.
In 2008, two new wings were added to the MarAbel B. Frohnmayer Music Building, containing best in class, acoustically separated indicating studios, classrooms, and rehearse rooms. The Leona DeArmond Academic Wing offers studios to the Suzuki Strings Program, a music preparing demonstrating lab, twenty-eight indicating studios, classrooms, and hone rooms. The Thelma Schnitzer Performance Wing contains an outfit size practice hall, conferred rehearse spaces for jazz and percussion considers, a recording studio, and additional practice rooms. Basic rebuilds were furthermore made to the present workplaces.
Collier House—the second-most prepared developing the UO grounds—has been added to the school's summary workplaces. Built in 1885–86 by the Collier family, it is an exceptional instance of a late Victorian house in separated style, with an Italianate-style inside understood in the Northwest in the late 1800s. Both the house and grounds are recorded on the Inventory of Historic Sites and Structures. It has been a living course of action for a school president and a chancellor, a staff club, a diner, and a meeting house–pub. In August 2004, music history workforce working environments and the Early Music Program were moved to Collier House. A blended sack of courses, workshops, social events, presentations, and projects.
